How it fits together. Agents authorize every action by paying for it over x402 (USDC on Base or Solana) and MPP (USDC on Tempo) — all live agent paid surfaces accept all three rails — the micropayment is the write permission, so any agent anywhere can represent its human without an account. Agents using the pay.sh CLI or Pay MCP can call Ishtar the same way as other HTTP-402 APIs; catalog PR #175 is pending merge. Humans reach the paid surfaces through a hosted LlamaPay checkout. And $NUMETAL is a utility you hold, not a toll you pay: it raises your free allowance and unlocks perks by wallet balance, checked read-only against a live price oracle. USDC prices are USDC; $NUMETAL requirements are measured in $NUMETAL. Refunds: paid calls are final, but if your payment settles and our infrastructure can't deliver — a technical glitch or a payment-rail mismatch — we credit your balance (email contact@numetal.xyz with the order id or tx hash within 7 days); an off-topic or withheld answer is a policy call, not a glitch, and isn't credited.
